Welcome to Transform Your Dog, LLC, where we help pet parents become calm, confident leaders their dogs can trust.
I’m Raymond Rodriguez, the owner and head trainer. I’ve been working with dogs professionally since 2007, starting in shelters and large facilities like Petco and Bestfriend Pet Hotel. Over the years, I’ve seen it all—fear, aggression, anxiety, stubbornness—and I’ve helped countless families bring balance back into their homes.
I’m certified in Dog Obedience through Penn Foster Career School, with continued education in pack theory and canine behavior from Camden County College. I’ve trained under some of the best in the industry, including Cesar Millan, Jeff Gillman of Solid K9 Training, and Buck’s Dog Training, combining real-world experience with proven science-backed methods like Classical and Operant Conditioning.
At Transform Your Dog, we use a balanced training approach—clear communication, fair correction, and meaningful rewards—to help you build a respectful, loving relationship with your dog. We don’t chase trends or rely on treats alone. We teach structure, consistency, and leadership—because your dog needs more than love to thrive.
If you're tired of feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or unheard by other trainers, you’re in the right place. Let’s work together to turn confusion into clarity and chaos into calm.
At Transform Your Dog LLC, I don’t just teach obedience commands — I help you understand your dog on a deeper level. My training is based on dog psychology, which means I focus on what your dog truly needs to be balanced and well-behaved. Together, we work on three areas: physical, mental, and spiritual.
Physical Needs
If your dog has too much energy, it often shows up as frustration, pulling, jumping, or destructive behavior. I’ll show you how to meet your dog’s physical needs by mastering the walk, introducing treadmill training, or even biking with your dog. These structured activities not only tire your dog out but also satisfy their natural instincts, making them calmer and more focused during training and at home.
Mental Needs
A tired dog is not always a calm dog — they also need structure and leadership. I’ll guide you on how to step into the role of leader in your dog’s life, so your dog looks to you for direction in every situation. You’ll learn how to communicate the way dogs naturally understand, using calm confidence, body language, and consistency. This builds trust and respect, which creates a strong foundation for obedience and good behavior.
Spiritual Needs
Every dog has something that lights them up. Some thrive on play, others on work, and some simply on being given a job or purpose. I’ll help you discover what makes your dog happiest — whether that’s the right toys, fun challenges, or activities that match their instincts. When you meet your dog’s spiritual needs, you’ll see a happier, more fulfilled companion who feels connected to you in a deeper way.
